{"id":1356,"date":"2018-11-15T18:10:22","date_gmt":"2018-11-15T18:10:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/control-h.org\/wordpress\/?p=1356"},"modified":"2018-11-15T18:10:22","modified_gmt":"2018-11-15T18:10:22","slug":"fifteen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/control-h.org\/index.php\/2018\/11\/15\/fifteen\/","title":{"rendered":"Fifteen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Halftime.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>So, I&#8217;ve kept up with this, albeit it some of them have been kind of half-assed.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m incredibly busy, and I&#8217;m having trouble keeping up with everything lately.\u00a0 Case in point?\u00a0 I had to schedule a dental appointment I had scheduled for the Monday after Thanksgiving.\u00a0 I got an emergency work task that&#8217;ll not let me get away.<\/p>\n<p>To that, too, I&#8217;ve been working pretty much continuously since 0800, and am just now stopping at 1800.\u00a0 Sofa King Tired.<\/p>\n<p>So, what else interesting is going on?\u00a0 I&#8217;m cooking for Thanksgiving.\u00a0 I&#8217;m not doing anything terribly fancy.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t get an opportunity to do much cooking anymore, so I take the opportunities as they come.\u00a0 About the extent of my culinary adventures lately is either reheating leftovers in the oven, or nuking microwave ramen or pho.<\/p>\n<p>I guess, though, I should be more attentive, but there&#8217;s only so many spoons at the ready.<\/p>\n<p>Hmmm.\u00a0 Spoons.\u00a0 I want pudding.<\/p>\n<p>Yeah, I&#8217;m finished concentrating for the day.\u00a0 *yawn*\u00a0 What&#8217;s for dinner?<\/p>\n<p>I will say this, though, before I run, I like doing this each November.\u00a0 It is something on which I can focus apart from my health, and my work.\u00a0 Maybe I should find better prompts to get the writing flowing a bit more.\u00a0 Hmmmmmmmm&#8230;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Halftime.
