{"id":1802,"date":"2019-11-28T11:53:47","date_gmt":"2019-11-28T16:53:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/control-h.org\/wordpress\/?p=1802"},"modified":"2019-11-28T11:53:47","modified_gmt":"2019-11-28T16:53:47","slug":"twenty-eight-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/control-h.org\/index.php\/2019\/11\/28\/twenty-eight-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Twenty-eight"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Thanksgiving<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<p>So, I&#8217;m writing this from my inlaws&#8217; couch, with the Macy&#8217;s Thanksgiving Day Parade.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>We left out at about 0630, and got down without too many issues.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>My wife got the turkey in, and we&#8217;re waiting for my mom to show up.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>This is the first time I&#8217;ve been down here since I left last May.  No feelings of comfort at all, whatsoever.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>So, the plan is do dinner, go to a hotel for the night, then I get on the train to go home in the morning.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>But I do what I&#8217;m expected to do.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>*shrug*<\/p>\n\n\n<p>I should be looking forward to the football games.  Even moreso with the Saints playing the Failcons tonight.  But I&#8217;m having trouble being excited.
