Describe your work situation. Are you happy with it? Will it change soon?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, my current work situation is happenstance, and it\u2019s probably not going to happen much longer. Either because I quit, or because it comes to an end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m really hoping for the former, rather than the latter. I\u2019ll spare the particulars of government contracting, but, let\u2019s just say, that despite ressurance from the low-level customer, there hasn\u2019t been anything official published.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Without that official publication, I\u2019m out of a job sometime late next month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m okay that it\u2019s almost done, one way or the other, because I\u2019m incredibly unhappy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Physically, the job has taken a toll on me. I work in an eighth of a cubicle, and have no way in or out of the facility without someone giving me a ride. As a \u201creasonable accommodation,\u201d I\u2019m now given a lockbox where I can store my phone, but it really doesn\u2019t do me any good, because I can\u2019t even get a taxi to the work site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You know, I could write extensively about how bad this has all been, but I\u2019m not going to. It won\u2019t change anything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, so much for writing volumnously about this; I don\u2019t want to talk about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On to other thing&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>.26.
