I\u2019m not happy that my boss wasn\u2019t forthright enough to come check on me, or, if he\u2019d gotten there before I did, call me and tell me that I should stay away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So, there\u2019s that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On a similar note, I\u2019ve had this out-of-town recruiter trying hard to get me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The money is right.
The situation is a little sketchy.
It\u2019s in a city I know little about, and questionable public transportation. (At the same time, it\u2019s a city I\u2019m very intrigued with the possibilities….)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I finally told him I can\u2019t drive; we\u2019ll see if that sends him away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I become more and more convinced with each passing day that we belong somewhere up the Northeast Regional line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Though it\u2019s still hot during the summers, and colder during the winters, I can get around, and the cold doesn\u2019t bother me as much as the heat does.
