Unfortunately, the Thanksgiving schedule is still screwed up. But at least there\u2019s some AFC representation. It used to be that either the Lions or Cowboys would face a division rival (think Bears-Lions, or Redskins-Cowboys) or NFC powerhouse, and the other would play an AFC team. They added the Thursday night game probably about ten years ago, and the last few years, those have been completely-NFC games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year, there\u2019s two NFC division games during the day, followed by an AFC matchup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What more am I seeing?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What an absolute genius Al Davis was. His last draft pick is really becoming an internal part of the Steelers\u2019 offense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019m seeing some good games on TV this year; maybe that\u2019s why ratings are down. (If you\u2019ve seen CBS\u2019s primetime offerings, you understand that quality programming is not what gets numbers…..)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have not idea what\u2019s on this afternoon. Maybe I should look at that. Not really feeling like writing today. I think the Redskins are on a bye after their tie in London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
