Where are you? What are you doing? Are you satisfied with the situation?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a bit of an appropriate prompt, because I haven\u2019t had a \u201cnormal\u201d day since the beginning of last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This situation I\u2019m in has me so out-of-sorts that there\u2019s just nothing to say.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the week, I\u2019m normally booked into my prison assignment around 0700, and stay there until someone can give me a ride out. Normally, that\u2019s by about 1615, though sometimes I do have to work later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ve never settled into a routine, nor do I really want to, because this is going to be done soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One day, some day soon, I\u2019ll have something more substantial to write about. I look forward to that day. Almost as much as I\u2019m looking forward to some downtime\/quality time with my wife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My wife and I were talking this weekend about whether I\u2019d made a mistake taking this job.
