{"id":2485,"date":"2020-03-14T08:05:30","date_gmt":"2020-03-14T13:05:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/control-h.org\/?p=2485"},"modified":"2020-03-14T08:05:30","modified_gmt":"2020-03-14T13:05:30","slug":"turn-your-head-and-cough","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/control-h.org\/index.php\/2020\/03\/14\/turn-your-head-and-cough\/","title":{"rendered":"Turn Your Head and Cough"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>But make sure it&#8217;s into your shoulder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ve been listening to podcasts about <s>Coronavirus<\/s>COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Obviously, this is of particular concern to me as someone with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalmssociety.org\/Treating-MS\/Medications\/Tysabri-%C2%AE\">chemically-suppressed<\/a> immune system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But at the same time, I can&#8217;t get too wound up about it, really.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I was happy to see that Wall Street had pretty much the same reaction I had to President Trump&#8217;s news conference yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I guess my question is whether the sort of cooperation among <em>private companies<\/em> would happen under a government-run system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m more than a little skeptical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the things I did notice about the news conference, however, was the push to do things like provide paid leave to people who really now get no benefits from their jobs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For a long stretch, there, I had no PTO.  None.  Not even paid Federal holidays.
