Today is the last day I\u2019m writing in this stretch. It\u2019s time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Am I very satisfied with this month of writing? I don\u2019t know. Maybe I mailed it in a bit in a few places, but I\u2019m showing that I\u2019m still capable of doing it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So, what else am I still capable of? I guess we\u2019ll find out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Last night, my wife and I finished binge-watching Silicon Valley<\/em>.. She was very reluctant, but has grown to appreciate it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As I\u2019ve said, watching that does spark the desire to do something that\u2019s different than what I\u2019ve been doing. I want to be working on something interesting<\/em>. What I\u2019m doing now is really just dotting lower-case Js, making sure little Fs are crossed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n My skills have wanted somewhat, largely because I haven\u2019t had the financial means, or the energy to do anything terribly interesting. (And here\u2019s the part where I\u2019d snipe about naming names, etc., but….) For the past few years, I\u2019ve done what I needed to do to get through the day, and not much else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n That is no way to live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So, as I said yesterday, I\u2019m excited about the opportunities for the next few rest of the year. (And the start of yet another year of my life.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n I know there\u2019s some obstacles I\u2019m going to have to face, starting with more discomfort courtesy medical professionals. My rent is also going up by the outrageous amount of twenty dollars per month. So, another year in Norfolk. I\u2019m okay with this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
