When I wrote\nit, I was talking largely about what I was seeing happening with Google and\nFacebook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Since I\u2019ve been in virtual isolation worried about COVID-19\/Coronavirus\/\u201dThe Chinese Virus,\u201d I\u2019ve opened back up to social media, I\u2019m leaving again.\u00a0 I\u2019ve been glancing at Facebook more often.\u00a0 I\u2019ve been reading Nextdoor<\/em>, after the wholehearted endorsement by the corporate media\u2019s Republican sweetheart, David Brooks, on the dumpster fire<\/a> (all apologies to Ms. Bridget Phetasy, whose Totes-Didn\u2019t-Used-To-Be-Evil video show is called that) that is Meet The Press.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n My\nmistake. But understand that I\u2019d be okay\nnever speaking to some of you ever again. \nIf I care the last about you, you\u2019re getting muted during one of my rare\nvisits. If you do it repeatedly, you\u2019re\ngetting removed from my friends list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n That\u2019s the\nkindest way to deal with it, even if it means that those people will hate me\nnow, want to see me executed later. I\ndon\u2019t care. But, then, I am the one who\u2019s\nseeing a Psychologist on the regular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But, back to\nNextdoor<\/em>, the sentiments go along\nwith the area where I live. My neighbors\nare authoritarians who want to use the force of government. Today it\u2019s forcing businesses to close. What is it tomorrow? When does it get to killing people<\/em> who don\u2019t behave\nthe way you want them to?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
