I did end up checking in yesterday, because I was concerned about my oldest friend&#8217;s family. No news, but I did see that I had a message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fuck Zuckerberg, his content moderation, and data mining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I did watch <em>The <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/decider.com\/2020\/09\/09\/the-social-dilemma-netflix-documentary-review\/\" target=\"_blank\">Social<\/a> Dilemma.<\/em>last weekend\/early this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can leave.  To quote a former company slogan, &#8220;Just Do It.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And I&#8217;ve gotten disrupted by the news of Ron Paul&#8217;s live steam stroke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But it leads me back to what I was about to say about the cesspool that is Facebook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, I plan to revisit more frequently after the election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And I will be &#8220;unfriending&#8221; people liberally.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re not offering anything other than annoyance, I don&#8217;t have time for you, and I will eliminate you from my experience.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Per last entry, I&#8217;m seriously limiting Facebook access.
