I took yesterday off, but really couldn&#8217;t focus on much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, what did I end up doing after listening to the endless reactions?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trying, again, to work through the various <em>Star Wars<\/em> things on Hulu before I look to toss that to the side as under=used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, a lot of this was flavored by <em>South Park<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Put a chick in it and make it lame and gay - with disney references\" width=\"580\" height=\"326\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Iz8feYskRpk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Lame and Gay<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I think I got about 90 minutes into <em>The Phantom Menace<\/em> before my wife came home, and I went on to other things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The Bear<\/em> is back, so I guess I&#8217;ll watch that, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keep getting interrupted, too, by my wheezing equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do I need to be able to switch among so many systems?  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Own PC, work PC one, work PC two, various personal laptops&#8230;..<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Take your own damn advice, dude, and just spend the money to get something that works well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hmmmm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>So, the debate&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I took Friday off not because of the debate Thursday night, but it was a nice happenstance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I really don&#8217;t have words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The President was nearly as incomprehensible at times as my mother can be, and, well, Trump was Trump.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That there&#8217;s not a Libertarian on the ballot, kind of takes that option off the plate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I actually sent Liz a personal email after reading <a href=\"https:\/\/reason.com\/2024\/06\/25\/how-the-libertarian-party-lost-its-way\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">this<\/a> to say &#8220;thank you.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Absolute disaster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While I don&#8217;t think they&#8217;re going to reach the Mises Caucus&#8217;s goal of garnering fewer votes than Andre Marrou got in 1992, just with the growth in the US population, watching the immolation is simultaneously dismaying adn satisfying.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bummer of the weekend was <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Martin_Mull\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Martin Mull<\/a>&#8216;s death.  I was tempted to <s>tweet<\/s>post that he&#8217;s in a batter place, maybe he&#8217;ll see Jim Brown, but then I remembered that he was one of the steadfast atheists in hollywood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I absolutely respect that.  I don&#8217;t share the same respect for agnostics.  You can make a determination on the evidence you&#8217;ve collected.  If later you change your conclusion, that&#8217;s fine.  But <strong>YOU<\/strong> have the ability ot make a pronouncement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unwillingness to make a pronouncement shows me one thing.
