{"id":4717,"date":"2024-11-28T10:52:10","date_gmt":"2024-11-28T15:52:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/control-h.org\/?p=4717"},"modified":"2024-11-28T10:52:10","modified_gmt":"2024-11-28T15:52:10","slug":"28-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/control-h.org\/index.php\/2024\/11\/28\/28-4\/","title":{"rendered":"28"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Thanksgiving Footbal<\/em>l<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What do we have today&#8230;.?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bears at lions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Giants at Cowboys<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dolphins at Green Bay<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since the Cowboys now play inside, time to check the forecast for Green Bay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No precip, but cold and a bit windy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I admit a bit of nostalgia to old time outdoor football, but it&#8217;s probably gone forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I wonder if we went to a <s>Redskins<\/s>Commanders game we&#8217;d really be expected to stand for most of the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Pittsburgh at Cleveland game a couple of weeks ago was wonderful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Football.  Outside in the Snow is a hell of a lot of fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s also fun to sit inside and watch professional atheletes toil in the weather for our entertainment.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In spite of the scourge of climate change, I think there probably will again be something like <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Freezer_Bowl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Freezer Bowl<\/a> sometime in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ll be drinking coffee watching from warmth purchasing products advertised during the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m thankful for that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But now I&#8217;m going to relocate to the couch for much of the rest of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the unlikely event that anyone reads this today, Happy Thanksgiving to you.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thanksgiving Football What do we have today&#8230;.?
