Oops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I did have things on in the background.  Right now, I&#8217;m listening to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/krenner\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">KRenner<\/a> talk about finding gigs from an HR perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s interesting, but I&#8217;m inclined to think that much of this is now OBE.  Despite the <strong><em>robust<\/em><\/strong> economic latching on with a big company and advancing there is a thing of the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Really sour on most things HR after the past few weeks.  I saw something on X about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/business\/business-news\/lowes-becomes-later-paring-back-dei-efforts-rcna168380\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lowe&#8217;s killing of its DEI programs<\/a>.  That was right on the heels of the news about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2025\/01\/10\/tech\/meta-ends-dei-programs\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">FacH^H^HMeta doing the same<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A lot of that stuff is from HR staffs.  Will they ever get the message?  I <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m not holding my breath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There&#8217;s still a certitude about where the future is headed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But they&#8217;re wrong.  And it becomes quickly apparent that there&#8217;s just nothing there at all.  <a href=\"https:\/\/control-h.org\/?p=4634\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Going on in may different places<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I really wasn&#8217;t feeling well after trying to breathe through a face diaper again.
