{"id":4883,"date":"2025-02-27T19:15:36","date_gmt":"2025-02-28T00:15:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/control-h.org\/?p=4883"},"modified":"2025-02-27T19:15:36","modified_gmt":"2025-02-28T00:15:36","slug":"doing-the-research","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/control-h.org\/index.php\/2025\/02\/27\/doing-the-research\/","title":{"rendered":"Doing The Research"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Getting various pushes to participate in one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/money\/2025\/02\/26\/feb-28-economic-blackout-what-to-know\/80066188007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">boycotts tomorrow<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The &#8220;meh&#8221; response became even more emphatic after reviewing the organizing group&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/usatpu.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They list six core principles, all of which are &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.m.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Negative_and_positive_rights\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">positive rights<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anything that requires another&#8217;s effort is not a right.  If I&#8217;m being forced to provide those things, <strong><em>I am your slave<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I won&#8217;t be participating.
