Next round of poking, prodding, imaging is next Monday.  But the calendar actually looks kind of sparse for the rest of the month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Okay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trying to absorb one of <a href=\"https:\/\/thefp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TheFP<\/a>&#8216;s stories this morning.  The activist shown is intent on doing a new sort of &#8220;accountability.&#8221;  I was nodding along in slight agreement until she got to stuff about &#8220;The Epstein Files.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;m so confused by the changed mores.  When  I was single, I avoided <em>anything<\/em> that could be misconstrued.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My protests of innocence, and the innocence of the few people  with whom I interact, is quite frankly exhausting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>How can I carry it into what&#8217;s next?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hm.  Yeah, this is another part of yesterday&#8217;s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>What might shift if I responded with more trust?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What I wrote is <a href=\"https:\/\/control-h.org\/index.php\/2026\/07\/22\/2-7-22\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The answers really aren&#8217;t different.  I&#8217;m going to do what I think is correct even if I have greater trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;m the one who is stuck with the memories of previous missteps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More often than not, my regrets are about not being more clear and decisive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nice guys finish last.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But nice guys don&#8217;t have to wake up every morning wondering who might be coming to kill them today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Okay.
