There is a certain serenity that comes with stepping away. But also with not having to try to pretend to believe something that’s absolutely crazy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many of my priors have been reconfirmed by the past couple of years, but it’s not going to stop politicians of “both sides” being irresponsible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whatever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m not going to cheer the latest bombast. The few people I love who latch onto this I will stand by, but I’m not going to say anything I don’t believe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So. Saturday. I am being slightly irresponsible, myself, but it’s a worthy excess. Maybe I’ll regret it, but probably not. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

(I have various tasty things on the way with my ordered morning coffee.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Otherwise, another day of trying to stay out of the way.. No medical stuff this week, for a change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
