Users is coming along. \u00a0There’s still lots of packages to build, but it’s going. \u00a0When it’s done, I may try to resurrect some of the hot blog action there. \u00a0Maybe. \u00a0Those of you who’ve got accounts, please see the MOTD for the status. \u00a0(And, if you forgot your password, hit me up via E-Mail….)<\/p>\n
I’m trying to do good work again. \u00a0I really did feel constrained previously. \u00a0But, you know what? \u00a0I am who I am. \u00a0Am I what I was? \u00a0Not by a long shot. Do I still have a lot to offer? \u00a0Absolutely. \u00a0Am I willing to work harder than others? \u00a0Yep. \u00a0Would I prefer to be contributing from home while I’m in comfortable clothes? \u00a0Yes.<\/p>\n
I took down a lot of the MS stuff while I was looking for a new job; \u00a0the Drupal nonsense was part of that, too. \u00a0I guess I could bring some of it back, but I really don’t care to. \u00a0I’ve got problems. \u00a0They may not be immediately visible.<\/p>\n
But the social media stuff is important to my future work. \u00a0A lot of the older people don’t care to try to use it. \u00a0The people who do don’t pick up bar tabs after vendor demos. \u00a0But those tools are natural to a younger person.<\/p>\n
Is it a problem that Sendmail is gone on users? \u00a0No. \u00a0Does anyone really miss editing Sendmail.cf, and recompiling, mail spools, etc.?<\/p>\n
