{"id":6703,"date":"2026-11-03T17:05:05","date_gmt":"2026-11-03T17:05:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/control-h.org\/?p=6703"},"modified":"2026-11-03T17:05:05","modified_gmt":"2026-11-03T17:05:05","slug":"3-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/control-h.org\/index.php\/2026\/11\/03\/3-3\/","title":{"rendered":"3"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Election Day<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Good link back to <a href=\"https:\/\/control-h.org\/index.php\/2020\/11\/03\/three-8\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2020<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;m kind of tuning it out as best I can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Though the <a href=\"https:\/\/control-h.org\/index.php\/2026\/10\/31\/r2g-saturday\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">debt book I consumed<\/a> (and I didn&#8217;t write a review;  bad me) the past few weeks has quieted my worry a bit, but the problem with unfunded obligations is <a href=\"https:\/\/reason.com\/2026\/11\/02\/state-governments-burden-residents-with-growing-debt-just-like-the-feds\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">still very real<\/a>.  But that, on top of the real antisemitism floating to the top, I&#8217;m really having trouble caring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/DfQCNt2DE73\/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&amp;psln=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alan Dershowitz, a Democrat for 75 years, described why he&#8217;s out on with Dr. Drew<\/a> came out forcefully against &#8220;his party&#8221; over their embrace of antisemitism.  (And that I still pay attention to Dr. Drew kind of provides perspective about my age.  There&#8217;s been many times where I&#8217;ve disagreed with AD, but he is a prominent civil rights attorney.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;ve written here, that I planned to vote for Biden in 2024 until the We-Beat-Medicare debate.  Why?  Because I still don&#8217;t believe there&#8217;s <strong><em>any<\/em><\/strong> politician who can fix the mess that the Boomer presidents have created.  Okay, Biden wasn&#8217;t a Boomer, and his handlers were largely Millennials, who wrote pearl-clutching retrospectives about what they&#8217;d hidden from the world;  see my review of <em><a href=\"https:\/\/control-h.org\/index.php\/2025\/05\/21\/original-sin-reax\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Original Sin<\/a><\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Is this indifference?  Not really.  There are still some really fucking terrible people &#8220;on both sides.&#8221; (Set aside there&#8217;s really no big difference between the sides;  both OrangeManBad and JDVP would have been Democrats about twenty years ago) El-Sayed.  Paxton.  Vivek.  The DSA House candidates.  MAGA. Socialists, Big Labor, but I repeat myself, and so on.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, I&#8217;m out.  I&#8217;ll vote against the candidates I really don&#8217;t like.  And if you, or your business are big supporters of someone or something I really don&#8217;t like, please shut the fuck up about it if you want my acquaintance.  Or, especially, my business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;m going to go visit family this afternoon, and will watch the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wethefifth.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WTF<\/a> livestream tonight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whatever.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Election Day Good link back to 2020.
