Longer, testier, description of the nontroversy <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gaypatriot.net\/2014\/03\/31\/another-week-another-silly-gay-nontroversy\/\" target=\"new\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Most of my searching shows that <a href=\"http:\/\/thenextweb.com\/insider\/2014\/01\/02\/ie11-triples-market-share-10-42-firefox-slips-bit-chrome-gains-back-share\/\" target=\"new\">Firefox<\/a> is somewhere shy of 20% market share.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If a tree falls in the woods, and there&#8217;s nobody there to hear it, does it make a sound?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>(Setting aside for a moment that unless you&#8217;re in a vacuum, it always makes a sound.  I had a slickieboy BD guy look at me quizzically when I refuted his &#8220;perception is reality&#8221; assertion by asking if that tree ever failed to make a sound&#8230;  <b>&#8220;PERCEPTION <i>IS<\/i> REALITY!!!1!&#8221;<\/b>) <\/p>\n<p>So, of those eighteen percent of people browsing with Firefox, how many will visit OK Cupid?  Of that fraction of a fraction (<a href=\"http:\/\/knowyourmeme.com\/memes\/xzibit-yo-dawg\" target=\"new\">Sup, dawg<\/a>?), how many will be <i><bI><u>outraged<\/i><\/u><\/b> by what this guy gave money to?<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m reminded of William &#038; Mary&#8217;s most famous <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=aFQFB5YpDZE\" target=\"new\">alumnus<\/a> (since Darren Sharper figured out that, unlike Spanish Fly, roofies actually work&#8230;.) on <i>Crossfire<\/i> years ago.  In a country with more than 300,000,000 people, how can a show with average viewership of less than 500,000 be <i>hurting America<\/i>?
