WAVY just played a clip of some retarded woman during Ivan who didn’t evacuate. She called 911 when she thought the roof was going to come off, and wanted a fire truck to come out and get her.

I don’t know how many times I’ve spelled it out on the air preparing for a hurricane. If you’re in an evacuation zone, you’re on your own if you choose to stay. If you die, tough shit. Survival of the fittest. Part of that is not taking unnecessary risks. If you take a stupid risk and die, so be it. If you take a stupid risk, and are scared, I don’t want to hear you whining about it.

Preach on brother, I feel the same way. Why should others risk their lifes when its prolly they would die getting to you to save you . If you do not heed the mandatory evacutations you get whatever you diserve.
yep, i agree as well. though what i think is stupid is these people living off of FEMA money… their homes get destroyed and they get a fat check they rebuild and then their home gets destroyed again. wouldn’t you logically say hey i don’t like this i’m getting out of here.
