There is a certain serenity that comes with stepping away. But also with not having to try to pretend to believe something that’s absolutely crazy.
Many of my priors have been reconfirmed by the past couple of years, but it’s not going to stop politicians of “both sides” being irresponsible.
Whatever.
I’m not going to cheer the latest bombast. The few people I love who latch onto this I will stand by, but I’m not going to say anything I don’t believe.
So. Saturday. I am being slightly irresponsible, myself, but it’s a worthy excess. Maybe I’ll regret it, but probably not.
(I have various tasty things on the way with my ordered morning coffee.)
Otherwise, another day of trying to stay out of the way.. No medical stuff this week, for a change.
I should probably figure out what I’d like for my birthday, and what I’d like to do for the rest of the year.
